You may have heard The September Effect. In the finance world, it’s a calendar anomaly that refers to historically weak stock market returns for the month of September. One of the reasons could be that traders tend to adjust their portfolios in September after coming back from summer vacation.

I don’t know about you folks, but I could use a little break to recalibrate not just with my finances, but my entire life. With fall beginning, this meme dictates the difference in my mental state from January to September.

And of course as a lil bee who believes in the intersectionality of money and every other facet of our life, why not take the liberty to pause and readjust our life portfolio in September too?
